In this relaxed and inspiring environment, you’ll learn how to create geometric string designs using nails, thread, and wood, as well as how to weave on a small frame using a variety of natural and coloured fibres. You’ll be guided through each step with patience and encouragement, while still having plenty of room to explore your own creative ideas.
We begin by introducing the materials and showing some inspiring examples, then move into guided making time, with space to customise colours and patterns to suit your style. Whether you’re drawn to crisp, graphic shapes or soft, organic textures, there’s something grounding and satisfying about seeing your piece come to life under your hands. This workshop is ideal for anyone wanting to learn a new skill, reconnect with their creativity, or simply enjoy a few hours of focused, mindful making. All tools and materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished piece to take home, along with the confidence and inspiration to keep exploring on your own. Come solo or with a friend, no experience needed—just a little curiosity and a love for handmade things. This is creative time carved out just for you.
