KIN Studio Space
Located at the rear of Kingston Beach Hall, KIN Studio Space is a dedicated creative space for workshops, artistic projects and exhibitions, providing a welcoming setting for local creativity and community connection.
In early 2025, the KIN Collective was formed by a group of local artists and creatives, with a shared passion for collaboration, skill-sharing and bringing new creative opportunities to the community.
The space was brought to life through a collaborative mural project, led by Danielle Gilbert-Beynan and artist Fran Parker and filmed by Tim Butcher of StoryCraft Productions. Through a series of workshops exploring mind mapping, design and storytelling, the collective developed themes inspired by nature, animals, music, art, dance, food and entertainment.
These ideas became two vibrant mural designs, which the collective then worked together to create, extending the artwork into the surrounding garden to give KIN a fresh and welcoming new identity.
Completed in 2026, the project marked an exciting first step in activating KIN Studio Space as a place for creativity, connection and community. Flourish is delighted to be part of this evolving creative space, offering thoughtfully designed workshops in partnership with the Kingborough community.
KIN Studio Space is supported by the Kingborough Council. Mural project facilitated by StoryCraft Productions and artist Fran Parker, with the KIN Collective.
