Polymer Clay

Polymer clay is soft, colourful, and easy to work with. It can be rolled, blended, sculpted, textured, and cut into almost any shape. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to condition the clay, combine colours, form patterns, and shape pieces by hand or with simple tools. We’ll also cover tips for finishing, baking, and caring for your creations at home. Projects may include earrings, pendants, keyrings, beads, buttons, miniature figures, or decorative objects. You’ll be encouraged to follow your instincts and play with ideas as they come to life in your hands. There’s no pressure to be precise or polished. It’s all about enjoying the process and seeing what emerges.

We provide a wide range of clay colours, tools, cutters, texture plates, rollers, and inspiration to get you started. You’re also welcome to bring your own ideas or reference images if you have something special in mind. This workshop is suitable for adults and older children, and is a fun experience to share with a friend or enjoy on your own. No prior experience is needed, just a sense of curiosity and a love of making. Leave with finished pieces ready to bake, plenty of ideas to try at home, and the satisfaction of having created something small, joyful, and completely handmade.
